Hello and happy Monday! The weekend is over and it’s time to snap back into reality and get focused! How do we shake the sluggishness and get excited? By reading! I know, I know, it sounds like a snoozefest in itself. However, I have found that the key to energy is motivation. Over the past few years I’ve found some incredibly motivating books that I have used as fuel whenever I’ve felt defeated or just blah. We don’t all have a personal cheerleader in our lives so why not be your own? After all, you know yourself best!
The Compound Effect gave me the drive to begin this blog and Become a Better You gave me the courage to play piano in front of an audience last year. They uplifted me in almost a supernatural way and handed me the tools I needed to be more confident and productive in my life. You are a Badass will help give you that fire to do whatever it is that you’ve been putting off. My desire for everyone is to be the best version of themselves. You owe it to yourself to be happy and get what you want and deserve out of life! If you can carve out the time to read just one of these books you won’t regret it! I just received Rachel Hollis’ new book, Girl, Stop Apologizing. Let’s read it together! Her first book, Girl Wash Your Face, was super inspiring, so I’m very excited to start this one! I have several more wonderful, motivating books on my list, including Gary V’s Crushing It, so if you enjoyed this post please let me know and I will do a follow up soon! I hope this helps get you motivated! Enjoy!
Love Always,
Kimberly
