Well hello ladies! I often get asked what skincare products I use, so today I am excited to share with you my tips on achieving youthful looking skin! I’ve strictly followed the same regimen for several months now, and I’ve started getting a ton of compliments. My skin used to feel more dry and sometimes rough, but its gotten so much smoother and healthier looking. I follow the second and third steps while in the shower.
This first step is my favorite. I shave my face. Yep, I swear it makes a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. It helps remove dead skin cells and dry skin, while also removing peach fuzz from your face. This has actually helped my foundation apply so much smoother!
After I shave my face, I begin the cleansing process with Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser. I wash my face with this while using the Clarisonic to really massage the impurities out of my skin.
Next, I squeeze Philosophy’s Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash into my hand and mix it with a drop of the Purity Cleanser and again massage it into my skin with the Clarisonic. (If you have sensitive skin, it may be best to only exfoliate every other day). It’s always a great idea to wash your face twice to ensure all of the dirt and makeup is thoroughly removed. Rinse with warm water. (If I’m washing my face at the sink, I use these Baby Muslin Washcloths to remove the remainder of product).
I gently pat my skin dry and mist my face with Thayer’s Rose Petal Witch Hazel. It smells amazing and feels so refreshing. It’s also very affordable!
Follow up with an SPF and moisturizer and you are ready to rock any makeup look you desire!
