Hi friends! I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy and happy. It can be very challenging to balance our new lives and keep ourselves grounded when we don’t have the usual outlets we are accustomed to. It’s also been a full time job keeping the kids entertained all day! I want to share some really fun activities that will keep your little ones busy that I enjoyed as well.

-TIE DYE-
I ordered this tie dye kit and we have had a blast with it! We have tie dyed everything from t-shirts to pillow cases. Youtube has a ton of awesome videos on how to create different designs, including hearts, with tie dye. Not to mention its totally on trend right now for spring and summer!
-MAKING SOAP-
This was so much fun… my personal favorite actually! I love anything that makes my space feel more zen and spa like so soap making was awesome. First, we purchased these massage soap molds (shown above), which I love because my favorite resort has these massage bars. When you rub your body with them in the shower it feels really relaxing and can help rub out knots on your shoulders. It especially feels great on my always tight calves (my trouble are that I work out constantly)!
Also got this mold because it’s the same type Whole Foods has for their homemade soaps.
My SIL used these bee molds and they came out really cute and are smaller for hands rather than body soap size! Love these bee molds as well.
Next, you can get totally creative and get these colors for the soap but I left ours natural.
As for the soap we got the honey (sold out but linked another one here) and the oatmeal. They also have shea butter and many more options. You can mix anything in the molds before they set. We chose Rosemary from our garden, chopped up rose petals, flowers, sugar, etc.
Finally, we bought these super affordable essential oils and mixed and matched as we chose. I even mixed in some almond extract and vanilla extract in a few for a really soft aromatic scent. You can even mix coffee in with them!
-MAKING SNOW-
Why not make snow when it’s springtime you can’t actually play in it? Benjamin had so much fun with this project and it made the room smell incredible! All you have to do is mix 1/2 cup conditioner with 2 cups of baking soda. Mix together until incorporated and enjoy!
I hope these activities held bring some laughter and joy into your home! XO!
Love Always,
Kimberly
