Hey loves! I hope you all had a cozy, relaxing weekend. It was raining here which always makes me feel like a homebody want to stay indoors. My husband and I are heading out of town soon for Las Vegas and I’m getting so eager to pack! There’s something so exciting about packing a bag, imagining how your trip will go, and pondering what memories you’ll make. Then it comes time to unpack the bag… not so many warm and fuzzy feelings then! At that point I’m thinking about all of the laundry I’ll have to wash and put away.
Now onto more important things. I love to wear black. Black everything. It looks like I have a Batman closet since I have such a huge section of my closet dedicated to black clothes. I’ve been consciously making an effort to incorporate more color into my wardrobe this year and so far so good. For the sake of those like me who want all black everything, I want to share how to incorporate black into your Spring wardrobe! For this look I’m wearing, I was in a very casual mood that day and kind of channeling my inner James Dean vibes. I threw on some faded black denim, a blush colored top (tied in a low knot) to keep it fresh, and I wore a bomber jacket to make it look a little edgier. I just purchased this one and I’m loving the quality and fit! I’m in a XS, for reference. To complete the look, the perfect option was a classic black pair of converse and some amazing Givenchy sunglasses. I’ve linked everything at the top!
THE SWEATER
This Barefoot Dreams sweater is one of my favorites! It’s so soft and comfortable, but most importantly, it’s very versatile. You can dress it up or down and it transitions well from day to night.
THE TOP
A colorful, lace, silk cami is the perfect touch to add a little pop of color to brighten your whole look for spring.
THE PANTS
These faux leather pants are so incredibly sexy and will elevate your whole look. They are definitely on my wish list.
