Hey girls! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. Mine was lovely, despite the fact that I have been super under the weather. But this too shall pass, right?! I’ve had some requests to write a post on this black face mask that I am constantly showing on my insta stories. Aside from the fact that it is extremely effective, it’s budget friendly! That’s my kinda face mask!
I have been blessed to have pretty clear skin, so long as I don’t sleep with makeup on. However, when I use this face mask it’s unbelievable what comes off onto it! It pulls things out from under the surface that you couldn’t imagine are there! It’s really fascinating!
Why I Love it…
As the mask dries, it adheres to your skin. When you peel it off, it removes blackheads and God knows what the rest of that other stuff is that it takes along with it! It’s so refreshing and also a little addicting. The first time I tried this mask I was hooked! As a mother, I don’t have much time to myself. That’s one reason why I love to take the time once or twice a week and use this mask, have a glass of wine, and watch a show on Netflix. It’s so therapeutic and you’re helping your skin while relaxing!
How I Use it…
First, I throw my hair up into a ponytail with one of my Slipsilk scrunchies.
I wash my face or simply use a makeup remover wipe.
I ALWAYS shave my face with these razors that I’ve mentioned before in this post. The reason being, the mask adheres so tightly to your skin that as you’re pulling it off, it takes off any hairs that are on your face also. So, I just shave it off first, which makes my skin look so much better anyway. Shaving my face also helps my makeup apply like a smooth dream. If you are NOT interested in shaving your face, just be sure to apply this mask to your t-zone area only, since you have much less hair in those areas. The process of using this mask weekly and shaving my face every 5 days has been a game changer for my skin. It feels like a baby’s butt!
Apply a thin, but full coverage, layer (your skin should be totally covered by the mask, no skin peeking through).
Wait about 30 minutes, you will see it dry and it will begin to pull your skin a little taut.
Peel off in an upward motion.
The most rewarding part is looking at all of the icky stuff that the mask pulled out with it! It’s so exciting!
Rinse your face to remove any leftover black residue from the mask. I use these muslin cloths for this.
Mist your face with a toner, I use this one here and LOVE it!
Apply your favorite moisturizer, mine is this one and I’ve used it for years!
Feel how smooth your face is and enjoy the results!
I hope you girls love this just as much as I do! Enjoy pampering yourselves!
Love Always,
Kimberly

I was so excited to try this mask that I ordered it immediately! Can’t wait to peel it off! Thank you for sharing! I also ordered the moisturizer you recommended. 😊
So exciting!! I’d love to hear what you think of them!
I want to thank you for letting us know about the Fruit of the Earth skin cream. I bought some and am loving it! It isn’t greasy or sticky, smells nice, and isn’t expensive. It will be my forever go-to skin cream from now on!
I’m so happy you like it! I’ve used it for at least a decade and its so hydrating! I really love to hear your feedback!!
