If there’s one thing that excites me more than anything, it would have to be beauty products. When I was a little girl I would watch my older sister applying her makeup and I couldn’t wait to be old enough to wear it myself. I’ve always loved the transformation makeup brings and how good it can make one feel about themselves. It can truly lift your spirits and for me its just plain fun! Well, it’s a new year and I have some new tried and true favorite beauty products that I’m excited to share with you! These may not all be “new” on the market, but they’re new to me and I love ’em!
MARIO DEDIVANOVIC x SEPHORA MAKEUP BRUSHES
Holy guacamole guys! Once I saw that sweet, humble Mario Dedivanovic (makeups artist to the stars) came out with a line of makeup brushes with Sephora, I immediately snagged them up! I 100% believe that anything he puts his name on will be top notch. He did NOT disappoint! These brushes are so soft that I can’t believe how terrible my old ones were. The price point is phenomenal for what you’re getting and these are my new fave for sure! I bought the full Master Brush Set here. For the separate brushes click on the image links below. Yes the brushes are dirty in the image I used above but that’s because I wanted to test them several times before reviewing them. So glad I did!

OK, this one is KILLER! I went out the other night and I couldn’t stop smelling my friend because she smelled amazing!! She was wearing this oil and it was so addicting! This scent is fresh, warm and woody… and just plain romantic. I am hooked and I had to share it with you! The first item listed is the one I’ve tried and love but they offer this scent in so many other products as well, so I had to share them all with you girls.
FRESH LOTUS REPAIR MASK & CREAM
My skin has been so dry this season and it shows in my face, which really bothers me. I’ve been using this Youth Preserve Rescue Mask and following it up with their Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream and I am so happy with the state of my skin now. I’ve been using the cream in the mornings as well, before I apply my makeup, so my skin and makeup don’t look flaky. It’s great for spot treating too. At night I apply it allover my face and neck, but in the morning I only apply it to dry spots so my oily areas don’t get greasy throughout the day. This is my favorite winter skin remedy!
